Meet Your Coach, Adam Warren
Member of Pickleball Coaching International (PCI)
Growing up, I competed in baseball, basketball and golf...and played a lot of table tennis on the side. I ended up playing golf at the University of Cincinnati and played on the mini tours after college.
In adulthood, I coached girls basketball (3rd grade - Varsity) for 22 years and I'm now fortunate to be continuing my passion for coaching into the pickleball space. In June 2025, I competed in a regional tournament at the Meijer State Games taking bronze in singles and silver in mixed doubles, which qualifies me to compete in the 2026 State Games of America in Happy Valley, PA.
I bring a strong understanding of the game and a passion for helping others learn and improve, no matter if you are a beginner, novice or intermediate player. Pickleball has brought so much joy and sharing that joy with others is incredibly rewarding. Let's get on the court and have some fun!
Program Goals:
1. Improve the pickleball skills and techniques of each participant
2. Develop strategies that work in competition and social play
3. Focus on having FUN!
All in all, let's get a paddle in your hands so you can start playing. At the very least, I'll help you gain confidence so you can feel comfortable going to the courts with your friends and family. In addition to hitting the ball around, you'll also learn the history of game, basic rules, court positioning, scoring, and the essential equipment needed to play this great game. We'll focus on fundamental skills like ball/paddle control, grips, athletic stance, ready position, and the basic strokes to get you started on the right foot.

Why is pickleball great?

Testimonials
"I just want to tell you the pickleball group that I play that you are now giving lessons to, say that out of all the instructors, you are the best...We are learning a lot. It also helps that we play together all the time so we can remind each other of what we've learned and try to bring that into the game." Karen M.
PIckleball is a game/sport that brings people of all age and skill levels together. It can be played socially and competitively. There is very little barrier to entry due to the fact you only need some shoes, a paddle, a ball, and access to courts.
